From identifying which vehicle to replace with an EV to scenario planning on how to right-size their fleet to managing the EVs that are already in their fleet, our software analytics simplifies fleet management.

The Sawatch online dashboard delivers results to customers based on the minute-by-minute operations of each and every vehicle. Since 2017, we’ve analyzed more than 700 million miles of temporal and geospatial data.

We work with fleets of all sizes – from fleets with just a few vehicles to those with more than 30,000. Our clients range from Fortune 50 companies to local governments, spanning all 50 states.

About the role

As a front-end software developer at Sawatch Labs, you'll be responsible for helping build and improve the client-facing aspects of our platform. As well as developing new features across the existing suite of Sawatch products, you will have ownership over, and be responsible for development of new products.

You will write high quality, production-ready code, adhering to best-practice standards and internal code conventions. You will work closely with all members of the development team, including participating in code reviews and peer programming.

You will also regularly liaise with the client analytics and business development side of the house to prioritize upcoming client deliverables and product feature requests.

Additionally, you will work closely with UI/UX contractors to help improve the overall user experience of our products, and to facilitate design hand-off. You will also be responsible for providing our internal team with estimated UI/UX development timelines.

Experience/skills required

  • 1-2 years of experience working in JavaScript, in a professional development environment;

  • Experience working in HTML/CSS;

  • Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications;

  • Experience working with testing frameworks;

  • Solid understanding of test-driven development best practices;

  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work autonomously;

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

  • Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills along with the ability to exercise sound judgment.

Desirable experience

  • Experience working with JavaScript framework(s), ideally React.js;

  • Experience translating UI/UX designs into production-ready code;

  • Experience working with relational databases;

  • Experience developing and/or maintaining APIs;

  • Experience working in Python;

  • Experience working with data visualization tools.

Our office is located in Denver, CO. Candidates intending to work in-person are preferred, but remote work from within the United States will be considered for the right candidate.

The anticipated salary range for this position is 70k to 90k (DOE) with equity in the form of options, healthcare benefits including vision and dental, flexible hours and 4 weeks PTO per year. If this sounds like you, send your resume to hr@sawatchlabs.com.
